First week in Norwich!

Sports at Eaton Park and night at the Disco!!

Hello everyone!        

This is our first week in Norwich and we're having a fantastic time and wonderful weather as well...I think we've brought the sun Spain! After arriving on Saturday, we had a free-time-day with host families on Sunday. Some of us met in Norwich city centre to walk around and get familiar with the most popular places here.
This week students have classes in the morning from 09:00 am to 12:30 pm and activities in the afternoon.
On Monday, we did the Norwich city tour: we went to visit the most popular places here and we showed them the places they have to go to in case they need anything important (change money, bus stops, tourist information, etc)

Yesterday, after the classes in the morning, we had sports at Eaton Park, a very big park close to UEA (University of East Anglia). Boys played football and girls played volleyball. It was really warm (28 degrees...unbelieveable in England!) so they had a rest afterwards lying in the grass and chatting! We also played rounders (very similar to baseball) with a Spanish group from Santander. Our activity leader, Rachel, is a very nice and active girl and is helping us at all times. They are very happy with her!

Today we have a half-day-excursion to Blickling Hall. I'll post pictures of it tomorrow!

Hola a todos!

Esta es nuestra primera semana en Norwich! Lo estamos pasando muy bien y estamos teniendo un clima maravilloso, así que...creo que nos hemos traído el sol desde España! Después de llegar el sábado, tuvimos un día libre con las familias de acogida el domingo. Algunos de nosotros nos reunimos en el centro de la ciudad de Norwich para pasear y familiarizarnos con los lugares más populares aquí.
Esta semana los alumnos tienen clases por la mañana de 09:00 am a 12:30 pm y actividades por la tarde.
El lunes, hicimos el recorrido por la ciudad de Norwich: fuimos a visitar los lugares más emblematicos aquí y les mostramos los lugares a los que tienen que ir por si necesitan algo importante (cambiar dinero, paradas de autobús, información turística, etc.)





Ayer, después de las clases por la mañana, tuvimos deportes en Eaton Park, un parque muy grande cerca de la UEA (Universidad de East Anglia). Los chicos jugaron al fútbol y las chicas al voleibol. Hacia mucho calor (28 grados ... increíble en Inglaterra!) así que se tomaron un descanso después tumbados en la hierba y hablando! También jugamos a "rounders" (muy similar al béisbol) con un grupo español de Santander. Nuestro "activity leader", Rachel, es una chica muy agradable y activa, y nos está ayudando en todo momento. Están muy contentos con ella!

Hoy tenemos una excrusion de medio dia a Blickling Hall. Voy a publicar fotos de ella mañana!
